Which teas contain caffeine?

The teas that naturally contain caffeine are English breakfast, Earl grey, Sencha Jasmine & rose, Organic chai and Sticky chai. The rest of the teas on our website are naturally caffeine-free.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

Yes! Our shop is located at 5/93 Centennial Circuit, Byron Bay. We are open 10-4, Monday- Friday.

I’m not located in Byron Bay – can I book a naturopathy appointment?

Yes, Kate also offers Skype consultations; you can find out more here.

What are Kate’s qualifications?

Our founder Kate Dalton holds a Bachelor of Health Science, with majors in naturopathy and nutrition. She is passionate about all areas of wellbeing, with a key focus on women’s health and digestive and nervous system conditions.

How do I become a stockist of Mayde Tea?

What happens if I make a mistake in my postage details?

Contact us when you notice the issue and we may be able to update the details before your order is sent. If your order has already been shipped and it is returned to us, we will reship it at your expense. See all shipping times and costs here.

I just received my order and it’s incorrect – what should I do?

We must have packed your order before having our morning cup of tea! If there are problems with your order, please contact hello@maydetea.com so we can sort it out for you ASAP.

Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?

We do not offer refunds in this situation, so please choose your products carefully. To help you buy consciously, we have highlighted the therapeutic benefits of every product we stock as well as the flavour profiles of our teas.

How does your shipping process work?

My tea looks a bit different to my last batch – has your recipe changed?

Given that we only source natural and organic ingredients, we are at the mercy of Mother Nature. In situations where extreme weather or natural disasters have affected our wonderful growers, we may have to source tea leaves and herbs from different suppliers.

Even when this happens, we will only ever source organic ingredients and blend our teas using the exact same formulation – but if your tea looks a little different, chances are we have sourced one or more of the ingredients from a new supplier. What health concerns does your tea assist with?

All of our teas are created to promote general wellbeing. If you have a specific health concern, please ensure you see a health practitioner for a tailored treatment plan.

Are your teas safe to drink during pregnancy?

Even though our teas are made using organic ingredients and created by Kate, founder and naturopath, we do recommend checking in with your health practitioner about what’s right for your pregnancy. Generally, our teas are safe to consume in moderation during pregnancy once you have got the all-clear from your own health provider.

Kate’s recommendations, and what she had during her pregnancy are:

Energise for morning sickness, circulation and natural energy production (it is naturally caffeine free).

Digest for bloating, indigestion or other digestive symptoms.

Serenity to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety and help sleep.

Rooibos Turmeric Chai as a warming, anti inflammatory, antioxidant-rich tonic.

Once you’ve had bub, if you breastfeed we have our Nursing blend which helps support both nervous and digestive systems of mum and baby, as well as support breast milk production.

Do you sell your blends in teabags?

We do not sell tea in teabags, as we try to minimise the environmental impact of our teas.

My discount code wasn’t applied to my order – can I get a refund for the discount amount?

We are very sorry that this has happened, however, once your order has been processed we cannot refund you the difference for the discount amount. Please ensure you double check your discount code has been applied before proceeding to payment. You will be able to use your discount code with your next order – if you believe your discount code might expire soon, please get in touch with us and we can extend it for you.

How do I store my tea?

Our amber jars will keep your tea fresh, and should these be stored away from heat and direct sunlight (that means you shouldn’t put your tea next to the stove or on the windowsill). If you order a 40-serve box, we recommend transferring the tea into an airtight container once it has been opened.

Is your tea organic?

Yes, we only use 100% certified organic ingredients to blend our teas. The certified part is really important to us, so we know that we’re nourishing you with the best-quality ingredients. This means there will never be any anything unnatural in your cup (and that goes for sweeteners and flavourings too).
