Cacao nibs (Theobroma cacao)
Cacao nibs are high in antioxidants, plant based iron, magnesium, calcium and B vitamins.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
Cinnamon acts systemically as a smooth muscle relaxant, and has also been used to balance blood sugar levels. It is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and warming to the digestive tract.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
Ginger is a stimulating tonic for the digestive system. It has been found to reduce cramping, gas and nausea. Ginger has been indicated for motion sickness and morning sickness in pregnancy for hundreds of years. Ginger increases peripheral circulation which increases blood flow, improves immunity, reduces inflammation and helps to detoxify the body from toxins.
Honeybush contains polyphenols which serve as an antioxidant, and have been found to lower blood lipids. Honeybush tea has traditionally been used in women's reproductive health and to treat menopausal symptoms.
