Ingredients:
Peppermint / liquorice / fennel / calendula
Therapeutic benefit:
Peppermint (Mentha Piperita) **high amounts of peppermint are condraindicated in GERD and breastfeeding.
Peppermint has excellent antispasmodic actions, calming and soothing the entire length of the digestive tract. Peppermint has been found to relieve intestinal colic and flatulence by its relaxing effect on smooth muscle.
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) **high amounts of licorice are contraindicated in hypertension.
Licorice has been used for many years as a general body tonic. Licorice aids in the digestive processes by soothing inflammation in the stomach and intestines, creating a healing barrier.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
Fennel is a potent carminative, alleviating digestive cramps and flatulence. It also reduces inflammation in the digestive system, with a particularly soothing effect on infant colic for breastfeeding mothers.
Calendula (Calendula officinalis)
Also known as Marigold, Calendula boasts numerous medicinal properties. When consumed internally, Calendula acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, with a particular focus on promoting healing throughout the digestive system.
