Caring for Your Mayde Tea Ceramic Teapot

Your Mayde Tea Ceramic Teapot with stainless steel infuser is designed to be the one you’ll use for life; a timeless piece that combines beauty, durability, and thoughtful function. With a little care, it will continue to brew perfectly balanced, aromatic teas for years to come.

Daily Care

After each use, empty the infuser into your compost or garden; your tea leaves make a wonderful natural fertiliser.
Rinse the teapot and infuser with warm water to remove any remaining leaves or residue. For a deeper clean, use a soft sponge or brush and a mild dishwashing liquid, ensuring you rinse thoroughly before the next brew.

If possible, avoid using soap directly on the ceramic, as it can affect delicate tea flavours. For milky brews, such as chai, a small amount of gentle soap is perfectly fine.

Removing Stains

Over time, darker teas may leave behind light tannin stains; a sign of a well-loved teapot. To refresh it, soak the interior in warm water with a little baking soda for 15–20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Drying & Storage

Allow your teapot to air dry completely before storing it. This helps prevent moisture build-up and keeps both the ceramic and infuser in their best condition.

A Piece to Keep for Life

Every Mayde Tea teapot is crafted to be a part of your daily ritual; reliable, beautiful, and built to last. With mindful care, it will serve you for years to come, becoming a cherished piece in the rhythm of your tea ritual.
