Tasting Notes

Our Organic matcha boasts a delicately sweet and earthy flavour, accentuated by a pronounced umami undertone and subtle astringency. When blended with maple sugar, it transforms into a harmoniously balanced, ready-to-enjoy elixir.

Brewing Instructions

1. Combine 1-2 tsp of matcha powder with 1 tbsp of hot water and whisk until smooth.

2. Add warm milk for a cozy matcha latte, or cold milk + ice for a refreshing iced matcha.

The Mayde Tea Matcha Latte Kit is incredible! My kitchen is now the best cafe in town
This is seriously the best tasting matcha I’ve ever had but I’ve always wanted a whisk so now I feel like why would I ever go and pay someone else $8 for a subpar iced matcha out at a cafe when I can just invite the girls over to my kitchen and play matcha chef at home hehe
The ceramic stand and the whisk also look really cute on the shelf with all of the lovely kitchen trinkets X

Is your matcha ceremonial grade?

Yes – we use high-grade, organic matcha that’s vibrant in colour and smooth in flavour, perfect for your daily matcha latte.

How do I use the bamboo whisk?

Add a small amount of hot water to your matcha powder and whisk in an Z-shape until smooth and frothy before adding milk.

Is matcha high in caffeine?

Matcha does contain caffeine, but it releases more slowly than coffee thanks to the presence of L-theanine, which promotes calm focus.

Is your packaging recyclable or sustainable?
