What does wellness and self-care mean to you?
Self-care and wellness have taken many shapes and forms over my life. Right now, as a new mum, it means prioritising my mental and physical health in whatever capacity I can. Some days this will be as simple as sitting in the sunshine for 5 minutes and other days this might mean booking myself in for a massage.

How do you incorporate moments of wellness throughout your day?
Drinking lots of filtered water, checking in with myself and noticing how I am feeling, eating a vibrant, plant-rich diet and prioritising movement and rest.

What is your favourite self-care ritual?
I have so many! Right now I am loving long walks in nature with a podcast or music.

What activity do you do to feel most like yourself?
Spending time with my daughter outside in nature.

Over the past 3 years, what new belief, behaviour, or habit has had the most positive impact on your life?

I have done a lot of work to help eliminate self-limiting beliefs. Self-doubt has held me back from so much in my life, so working on flipping this narrative has had a profound impact on me. I do this by keeping the dialogue in my mind as positive and optimistic as possible and focusing on best-case-scenario. 


When life feels overwhelming or unsettling, what practices do you use to recenter and ground yourself?
I love to use my breath. Three big deep breaths, or utilising ‘box breathing’. In for 4 seconds, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4. Coming back to my breath helps me feel present and grounded. It’s the most underrated wellness tool and it’s free!

What’s one piece of advice you’d tell your younger self?
Nothing is really that serious.
