10 Health Hacks To Improve Digestion & Immunity

It can be easy to view our health as the product of separate organ systems that work in their own ways to keep us healthy and feeling our best. However, the inner systems within our body are all closely linked & interconnected to each other and work synergistically to maintain optimal health. Two key systems that work very closely in our bodies are the gut & the immune system. Not only do these key organ systems share similar enzymes & genetic pathways, but they each also impact the other greatly.

  • Boost your fibre intake:

Most individuals need at least 25g of fibre per day for good health, and whilst this number seems low, many people are not meeting these daily recommendations. Incorporating more high-fibre foods into your diet, such as beans, legumes, whole grains, fruit & vegetables, will help to support good digestion & immunity.  


  • Stay hydrated:
  • Hydration is vital when it comes to feeling healthy & thriving within your body. It is also essential to any health routine that aims to support digestive health & immune functioning. The general recommendation to support adequate hydration levels within the body is 0.033 x your weight in kg = the number of litres of water your body needs to function at its best.
