Cacao Collagen Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
Serves 1
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1 teaspoon cacao powder (optional, for extra chocolatey flavour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed (a drizzle of maple syrup or honey works well).
  4. Pour into a glass and sprinkle a pinch of cacao powder or cacao nibs on top.
  5. Enjoy immediately!
*add extra protein powder for a more filling smoothie or post workout!
